The Last Photo Taken of Mam & I

Above is the last ever picture taken of my Mam and I, she left this world on my Birthday in April 2004

Life has not been the same: She was such a wonderful lady and has left such a huge gap in my life to this day. However, after her death I accomplished so much, and I feel she is with me and guiding me, helping me and giving me strength to take steps in life I may not have taken alone. I’m sure she would be proud. To have just one second with her again would be worth the world to me.

Well I have lots of interests, I am a keen collector, I am a deltiologist [a Collector of Postcards], a Copoclephilist [Key rings], a Numismatist [Coins], a Plangonologist [Dolls], a Fusilatelist [Call cards], ok and pins, pens, and last but not least Gadgets!!!!

Recently I have added to my “doll” collection with Sophie and Daniel, 2 reborn babies done and made by a lady in Wales, these dolls are so life like you can mistake them for the real thing, except they don’t cry or poop!

I used to be a dancer, firstly Ballet in school, and later on Line Dancing. I was really active and even competed in competitions, both in the singles and as a team and group. We had some lovely weekends away and some fantastic memories. Due to spinal surgery in 2003 I have had to give it all up.

Going back further, I was educated in a private school for girls in Foxrock, I was bullied in school and found school life incredibly hard, I didn’t do well academically but I always had a job until my then husband and I decided to start a family, I worked right up till our fist son was was due and we moved out to Castleknock where I still live some 20 years later!

I had 3 children and to rear them on my own from when my youngest was 2 as their father left then. but I was lucky enough to meet Dave in 2005 and we got married in 2009 in a fairytale wedding in a castle. I was actually so cool having our children there to celebrate the day with us.
